Excellent Location Initially given room in which the bathroom was not clean. Then shown another room similar issue. Finally got a good room. Breakfast very limited choice. No choice if fresh fruit apart from Papaya. No juice available (very old looking container of ?pineapple juice. No choice of eating in the room. Comfortable bed

Visited this place for office work the rooms very full but one of the manager help me through online booking and make my work easy and it was comfortable and well groomed staff and treated me well. food was quite expensive but tasty as well.

Unfortunately this tired old hotel is now not an ideal place for a business traveller. I booked for location thinking the photos looked good. I was upgraded to the executive suite but it is really not nice. The room in the bathroom is tiny because they have a massive bath which is placed so you have to step in and walk to the far side to put the water on (see photos) and if you want a shower at night you have to tell them because they turn the hot water off. I didn’t know that and no one said anything. The breakfast room looks great on entry and then you look at the tablecloths. All disgusting. I had to flip one layer over on three tables before I found a clean section. One of the housekeeping staff was sneezing without covering their face, then wiped their nose and headed into the kitchen. They touched the door as they went into the back. I asked that he wasn’t going to make my food and they explained he was one of the housekeeping staff. I decided to check out and move to another hotel. The Ramee Grand on the same road. I first asked to see the room as I was there before booking as I didn’t want to make the same mistake twice. I understand that hotels need refurbishment and are old but they don’t have to be clean. I have the same expectation for my hotel room that I have at home.

We had an engagement function in the hotel. This included stay also. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of check-in. Our group of 25 people were allotted rooms in just about 7 - 8 min in all. The rooms too were very good and well-maintained. All facilities that one could expect were readily available. Food had always been a strong point of the hotel. And it was so for the function as well as the earlier day. The location is great - right in the middle of the city with all places of tourist interest within a short distance. Transport is easily available. The banquet hall is sufficient for about 100 people. Easily accessible from outside by a seperate entrance, it can also be approached from within the hotel. The only minus points though are 1. Poor accessibility for differently abled 2. Very small lift carrying only 3 persons at a time 3. Limited parking facility. Since these minuses are very less as compared to the pluses, i would not hesitate in giving the hotel a 5/5 grade for almost all parameters. Vinit Dandawate
